You can set up a pause for your membership from next month at any time. All you need to do is log in to our website and pause your membership under the tab "Your account".
A pause can last between one and six whole months and is only possible in the cycle of your membership month. You can set up a pause for your next membership month at least one day before the start of the next membership month.
Example: Your membership started on January 17, so it renews on the 17th of each month. Today is March 15, so you can request the pause of March 17, which would end on April 17 at the earliest.
What should I do if I am sick/injured for more than six months?
If you are unfortunately ill or injured for a long-term period, exceeding the 6-month pause, we recommend you request the cancellation by following our 3-day notice cancellation policy before your next month's membership renews. Find more information here: What happens if I cancel my membership when it is on pause? - then you can reactivate and choose a new start day: How can I reactivate my membership?
For corporate members:
If you are a signed up through a special tariff with your employer or health insurance, there may be differences in the pause rules. Some types of company-sponsored membership tariffs can only be paused after the initial contract length of 12 months has passed. If you do not see the option to pause your membership as described above in your profile, it is not possible yet for you to set up the pause.
