If you are not interested in staying active while your local partners close their doors with our wide range of interactive online classes, wellness and outdoor sports, then you have two options:
1- You can choose to pause your membership, effective immediately. You can do so by logging into urbansportsclub.com, going to your membership profile and clicking on “instant pause”.
You will only see this option if the Urban Sports Club region set in your membership profile is one with local restrictions on sport partners. Here is how you can change the city in your profile, in case you do not see the option to instant pause.
We will automatically cancel any in-app bookings you have in the future. If you see any bookings go the the status "late cancellation" you will not receive a no show fee or any penalty.
Your COVID pause will last for the duration of the closure of the sports facilities in your area as defined by local government. Of course, you can reactivate your membership sooner to use our wide range of online classes, wellness offering and outdoor sports. Once the sports partners in your area are open again, we will end the COVID pause for you automatically
2- You can also choose to pause your membership at the start of your next billing cycle. Please note that some company-sponsored memberships do not allow for this, if this applies to you you will only see the option for the COVID pause above.
This pause can last one to six whole membership months. This means that if you reactivate your membership part-way through a membership month, then you will pay the whole membership fee for the remaining days in the billing cycle.
